FOTD: warm smokey eye

Hey, beauties!

I am so back in time when it comes to posting FOTD's - this is the look that I wore to Student day's event back in the end of the April. 
Eyeshadows are from NYX Smokey eyes 10 pan palette. Brow highlight is from Too faced romantic eye palette. Foundation that I used was Avon ideal flawless in Ivory. Lipgloss is NYX megashine in smokey look. 
I didn't feel like using a dark eyepencil in my lower waterline, but you can add it if you have bigger eyes than me, to get more sexy-smokey look. :)

Weekend in photos

Hei, kuna täna on mu sünnipäev, siis mõtlesin, et postitan mõned fotod, mille juba uue kaameraga teinud olen. Kuna ma sünnipäeva ei pidanud, siis peopilte siin pole. Samuti ei taha ma siia postitada oma lähedaste ja sõprade pilte - see on siiski avalik blogi ja midagi tahaks endale ka jätta. :) 
Esimesed pildid on reedest - käisime ema juures grillimas ja oli rahulik õhtupoolik. Vaate pildid on täna öösel tehtud Tigutorni tipust - imeline vaade Tartule! Tigutorn ei ole minu teada nö turismiobjekt, aga kui teil on mõni tuttav, kes seal elab, siis laske endale katuse ekskursioon teha. :)

Review: ArtDeco High Precision Eyeliner

Today I am reviewing ARTDECO high precision eyeliner for you - it happens to me my favorite at the moment. I can't remembe rexaclty when I bought it, but it defenitely was more than 5 months ago. Artdeco claims this to be a long lasting, intense black liquid liner and I have to agree with them. I haven't had any problems with it flaking off or smearing - stays on really well all day long. I haven't tried a whole bunch of artdeco products, but the ones I have, I have loved. I have tried artdeco eyeshadow base and it worked ok, but I didn't like that it came in a jar, so you had to stick your finger in to get the product out, a bit unhygenic. 

In Estonia we can buy Artdeco in Kaubamaja, ILU and in Rosalind - this liner comes in a pen form and contains 0.55ml of product. Instead of your regular felt tip, it has innovative brush as they call it - this is made up of bunch of fine synthetic fibres. Brush is one of the reaseons, why I didn't love this product at first - it bends! so it took me some time to get used to it. Also I haven´t been able to make too thin lines with it, because the very end of the brush seems to be too dry. This doesn't bother me too much, because I like my eyeliner bold. You can change the thickness of the liner by applying more or less pressure. 

As far as the color goes, this is truly intense black color. It isn't totally matte, more shiny black in my opinion. 

This is kind of expensive product, normal price is around 15€ (about 20$). 

Please note that this product isn't suitable for contact lens wearers - I think that it might irritate your eyes, but I really don't know the exact reason. If you have sensitive eyes, this might suit you - it is perfume free. 

Another thing to remember is to keep the brush side down when storing it - otherwise it might dry out. I looked at my blog archive and seems like the first time I used it was in December, and only now I have beginning to feel that I need a new one - so it defenitely would last you for 6 months (what is also the expiration date on the package).

Täna räägiks teile veel ühest mu suurest lemmikust, avastasin selle tänu Margitile - ta ühes oma videos kiitis seda. Tegemist on ArtDeco kauapüsiva laineriga(ARTDECO High precision eyeliner), mille ostsin juba detsembris. Toote kirjelduses on lubatud intensiivset musta pigmenti, kauapüsivat tulemust ning täpsust. Täpsus tuleneb uuest otsakesest- tegemist pole tavalise markeri tüüpi laineriga. Nimelt, on tegemist uuendusliku harjakesega, mis koosneb peenikestest sünteetilistest kiududest. Sellega harjumine võttis aega, seega alguses ma sellest lainerist vaimustuses ei olnud.
Ka  praegu on otsaga tegelikult veidi probleeme- üliüli peenikest joont sellega ikkagi teha ei saa, kuna siis jääb pigment laiguliselt/liiga vähe. Kuna aga ma nagunii armastan julgemat lainerit, siis ma ei aja taga 1-2mm joont ja see mind ei häiri. Üldiselt saab joone paksust reguleerida surve muutmisega. Kuna hari on painduv, siis nt vasakule silmale saan ma lainerijoone tegemisega paari sekundiga hakkama - kuidagi nii õige nurga all on hari.
Püsivusega pole mul kordagi probleeme olnud- ei hakka pudenema ja ei lähe laiali. Kasutan seda ainult ülemisel ripsmejoonel, nii et ei tea, kuidas ta all käituks- seal on ju ikka veidi vesisem-rasusem-kortsulisem. Eemaldamine ei ole ka keeruline- kasutan bioderma sensibio mitsellaarset vett selleks. Tuleb lihtsalt vatipadjakest paarkümmend sekundit peal hoida ja siis õrnalt silmameik ära pühkida. Ärge silmi hõõruge- see on kiirtee kortsudeni. Tean, tean, olen ka ise seda viga teinud...
Toode on mul olnud juba 6 kuud ja siiani ei ole ta veel ära kuivanud, kuigi kasutan teda üsna tihti - pea iga kord kui ennast meigin. Soovitan hoida sellist laadi "markereid" otsaga allapoole- siis ei kuiva hari ära. On küll vahe sees, ausalt - hoidsin enda oma alguses suvaliselt meigikotis ja nüüd viimased 2 kuud korralikult topsis, ots allpool. Ega ta väga kaua enam ei kesta, aga ka nö säilivusaeg saab varsti läbi, nii et olekski aeg uus osta. Ei tea, kas ostan sama toote, aga seda rohkem sellepärast, et ilublogijana tahan ju pidevalt uusi asju proovida - toode ise on suurepärane.
Toode ei sobi kontaktläätsede kandjatele- ma ei ole uurinud täpselt miks, nii et kui te väga proovida tahate, siis ainult omal vastutusel, eks?! Plussina tooksin ära selle, et peaks sobima ka tundlike silmadega neiudele, kuna tegemist on parfüümivaba tootega ja nagu teada, siis parfüümi nime alla võib koondada väga erinevaid kemikaale - üks mure vähem. ;)
Osta saab Kaubamajast, ILU poodidest ning rosalindist - viimasest saab neid ka internetivahendusel osta. Hind jääb 13-15€ ringi - nii et pole küll kõige odavam toode, aga vähemalt ei pea me selle eest maksma 32€ (beautybay's nimelt maksab see nii palju, ma muud kohta ei leidnud, kust rahvusvahelised kaunitarid seda osta saaksid).

Homme on mul sünnipäev ja sellel puhul vast postitan lihtsalt mõned pildid, mille oma uue kaameraga juba teinud olen - oodake palju lemmikloomi ning lilli :D Valisin siis ikkagi Canon 600D, sest 60D oli tunduvalt kallim.

Karen from MBB=makeupandbeautyblog(click to see her answers) has been doing this "poll" for quite a while now(this is vol.221!) and as you may guess, I like to answer to her random list of questions sometime. 

I might as well call it Tuesday poll, because my timezone is over 12 hours ahead of hers. :P Anyway, here goes nothing...

1. Mood:

Excited! I just ordered my first dslr, I chose canon 600d/t3i (more budget friendly than my first option- canon 60d) :) I hope that I will get it this week, maybe on friday - my birthday is on Sunday.

2. If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

That night is for sleeping, at least for humans and it is not polite to scratch windows(you know the noise when someone scratches the blackboard, right?) 

3. Do you do anything in particular to celebrate the start of summer?

I don't celebrate the summer when school ends, but tehnically st.johns(jaanipäev) is in the start of summer. That night is even more important to Estonians than Christmas. Everybody goes as far away from the city as possible, preferably to some small island with friends. We eat lots of meat and usually people drink even more beer. 

4. Eyes/Lips/Cheeks?

Today I had no makeup on, because I went to Oriflame event tonight and I thought that they might show us how to do something, but actually it was just room full of girls and they showed a little bit on 2 ladies. So I am kind of disappointed, I hoped for something more personal. 

5. Do you have a special spot where you like to read?

I live in one room apartment, so I can't be that picky. My place is usually on the couch, left side.  

6. A song that always puts you in a good/better mood?

My new obsession is Alex Clare- Up all night, his other songs are ahmazing too!  

7. Do you keep a pair of casual shoes by the front door?

I only wear casual shoes, so yes, they are always by the door :D  

8. Tell me about your weekend. What did you do?

On Saturday I studied for dermatovenerology exam that is going to be this friday. Ofc watched some football on Saturday night, bayern vs chelsea, UEFA final. Sunday wasn't nothing special, just cosy at home day. ahh.. I played Diablo III :P We(me&my bf) got a guest pass from a friend- so addictive game, I haven't played Diablo before, but now we have to buy this. Well, we wait until the school is over... 2 more exams to go for me, that's about 2 weeks! yay! 

9. What scent are you wearing?

I am one-perfume-person, so at the moment(for last 4 months or so), I have been wearing Acqua di Gioia Essenza (hahaa so difficult name, I always have to look on the internet how it is spelled. :D ) 

10. Weekly goals:

Do well on my dermatovenerology exam, maybe have a small celebration on Saturday or Sunday. You may guess how old I am getting this year :)

FOTD: feat Annabelle eyeshadows

Here is a quick look that I came up while playing with my goodies from Canada
Eyes: Annabelle eyeshadow trio in rosewood and single eyeshadow tone nr 203 - lovely matte lilac.
Bad girl mascara by benefit - this really adds nice lenght and volume, but doesn´t clump at all.
Cheeks: ELF blush in twinkle pink and ELF blush in candid coral
Contouring with benefit hoola bronzer
Lips wre NYX smokey look mega shine lipgloss.
Eyebrows: NYX browkit in blonde

Here are the Annabelle Eyeshadows that I used for this look, matte browbone highlight is from Too Faced Romantic eye palette.
Rosewood is a gorgeous trio with 2 pinks and one warm medium brown - I guess one of the pinks is meant to be used as a highlighter, because it has a subtle pearly glow.

Üks kiire meik Kanada pakist saadud asjadega - katsetasin Kanada dekoratiivkosmeetika firma Annabelle lauvärve ning Benefiti päiksepuudrit ning ripsmetušši. Lauvärvid pole maailma kõige parema pigmendiga, aga igapäevase tagasihoidliku meigi jaoks ideaalsed. Benefiti Bad gal lash on üsna hea tušš, kuna ta ei kleebi ripsmeid kokku, peal püsis ka kenasti. Mulle andis ta pigem pikkust kui volüümi, aga samas pildil näete ka ainult 1-kihti. Usun, et mitme kihiga saab kindlasti efektsemad ripsmed.
Benefiti hoola bronzer on tõesti mõnus päiksepuuder heledama nahaga neiudele, kuid tal on siiski veidi oražikat alatooni ning tundus üsna "puudrine".
