Review & Swatches: MUA Immaculate Eyeshadow Palette

Friday, July 27, 2012

Hey, beauties!

Here is a quick review of MUA Immaculate palette, I haven´t used it that much because I don´t wear makeup daily.

What they say about this:
MUA Pro's fantastic collection of 24 highly pigmented eye shadows with both matte and shimmer finish to suit every tone and taste. This must have beauty bargain offers ladies a unique palette containing a selection of the hottest new A/W fashion forward eye shadows as well some of MUA’s best selling much loved shades from brown shimmer tones to nude and natural hues.

Where to get it and price:
I got mine from http://www.muastore.co.uk/ and the price regularly is £ 8. I got mine for free with my order when they run a promotion in early spring.

What I think about the color range:
Color range is great, but I wish that they had them sorted out somehow, for a beginner this palette might cause a lot of confusion. Neutral shadows should be in one row etc, so it is easier to see what goes with what.  Shades don't have names, they are just numbered.
hahaa-- I understand now WHY they gave away this palette for free in march- shade 21 & 22 on the label look nothing like the shades in palette- mixup I suppose.
Pigmentation:
5 matte shades are basically unusable, no pigmentation at all
19 other shades have nice pigmentation to them, some more, some less. All that have some pigmentation are shimmery or satin shades.
Real colors in this palette look like this.
Texture:
Matte shades are hard, shimmery shades are something in between butter and rubber.
Longetivity:
I think that with a primer, they will last fine on your lids. There might be a problem with shades that contain glitter, I used shade 15 for my eye makeup and a few hours later my cheeks had a bit of fallout on them.

Swatches: without primer on bare skin.

In conclusion: It is not my favorite palette, because color selection seems to random and you probably need some other colors when you are doing eye makeup due to lack of usable matte shades. I would not buy it again for 8 £, maybe 5 £ is correct price for this palette. Instead on spending £8 on shades that you won´t probably use, buy MUA £ 4 palettes - you get better pigmentation and shades that you really enjoy.

Hei, kaunitarid!

Teiseks, enamus värve on siiski päris hea pigmendiga.

Aitäh, et lugesite ja homme-ülehomme hoidke silmad lahti outfit of the day jaoks. Mäletate ju postitust, kus palusin teie arvamust pulmakülalise kleitide kohta ;)
